We installed one set of this track system today. We have 2 more to go. The curtains move smoothly. Keeping the brackets level is essential.

Needs better instructions other than arrows

Awesome curtain track, I used it as a ceiling mount track. And even better is the customer service! I needed a few more pulley’s and clips because of the size of my curtains and they shipped them to me at no additional cost (even though I was willing to pay!). Really impressed!

This curtain rod set was easy and quick to install. I cut the rods to precise length (carefully) with a chop saw. A hand hacksaw would have worked as well, because the end cap covers any small irregularity. Then spliced the shortened 3' sections together, inseted the hangers, mounted 4 clips on the ceiling in a straight line, and snapped the rod into the clips.
Admittedly, this is not for heavy curtains (with just mollies into the ceiling) unless you screw into studs. And the graphic instructions must be examined carefully and followed precisely.
Some of the negative reviews are almost funny. There are some DIYers who need a video to be told how to hold a screwdriver. And if Amazon loses the hardware or repackages a return with parts missing (my experience), that is a fair gripe. But with some ability to know when a fine phillips is needed and not a fat one, this install is about as easy as it gets.
And for the person who couldn't get the tracks appart: they slide appart in the long dimension toward the ends, you don't pull them in the short dimension.
