Can curtains really be 100% blackout

Smooth and Easy Operation

We are using this curtain as a sun block on our screened porch. We didn’t want to close off the porch but just be able to block the Sun as it transverses the sky. The curtain is very high quality and glides effortlessly along the rail.

The installation was very easy and I used the corner of our patio table as a template to create the 90° bend on the rail. (See picture)

Good Quality Curtain

We had to research how to bend the curtain rod so it wouldn’t kink (bend and slide above knee) and where to start bending for a 90 degree angle at a certain measurement (mark where you want the bend to stop, measure about 6 inches before that and mark that. Then make your bend in between the 2 marks). Also, the ceiling mounts, we needed to mark where to put them before putting them on the track. We also bought a laser so our line would be straight. Once installed, the curtain provides adequate protection against light and sound. The curtain slides easily in the track, but tends to get a little bunched up at the bend part of the track. We also put an extra ceiling mounts there for more support. I wish this quality curtain came with the option of a white track, but it’s okay. Overall, it was more complex than how it seemed to me initially from reading the reviews, but am happy with the result.

Works Great and slides smoothly

Will buy again. This room divider is made of aluminum and really sturdy. The instructions are incomplete but can be figured out. I used a 3/4 inch galvanized tube bender because my bend needed to be at the edge. To attach to brackets, you need to decide of the spacing not included in the instructions, I used about 16 inch separating and screw the brackets on the ceiling and insert the track on each of the brackets.

Awesome room divider curtain with ceiling track

Awesome room divider curtain with ceiling track. Super simple to put up even a girl can do it because I did. I was a little hesitant to start this project as I thought it would be hard to get this track installed on the ceiling. But boy was I wrong it was just so simple. I drew a line across the ceiling for where I wanted my truck to go. Combined the track with the pieces provided. Then installed the ceiling holders which were just each individually put up with one screw. I cannot believe how easy this was to install and how amazing it looks. I am absolutely loving it. I really love that the end pieces come with an extra hook where you can hook your curtain too if you want the curtain to state wide open and not scroll back-and-forth. Which I do so I love that function.
